Ben&Ben's Paolo Benjamin admits crying after twin Miguel told him he was getting married

Did you know? Paolo Benjamin cried after his twin brother Miguel told him he was going to get married. 

Paolo shared the funny revelation during their guesting on “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda” on Wednesday when asked about Miguel’s wedding.

“Nag-iyakan kami. Pero noong una passive-agressive pa ako, sabi ko ‘di OK lang, OK lang,'” Paolo shared.

Recalling the time he broke his engagement news to Paolo, Miguel said “May period po noong kasasabi ko lang na magpapakasal na ako, edi siya [Paolo] parang, 'OK lang sige, OK lang, sige OK 'yan, OK 'yan.' Ganyan, tapos tahimik lang siya. Siguro mga ano ‘yon halos one month.” 

Then one morning, Miguel tried to confront Paolo to ask about his problem while they were in a coffee shop. To his surprise, Paolo cried. 

“May isa kaming umaga may interview kami, may appointment kami for something. Five a.m. naghihintay kami sa Starbucks tapos magkatabi kaming ganyan tapos sabi ko ‘Ano bang problema mo? Sabihin mo na lang sa akin.’ Tapos biglang [umiyak], nag-iyakan na kami sa coffee shop,” he shared. 

Miguel married his girlfriend, Karelle Bulan, in 2023. Meanwhile, Paolo is now engaged to his girlfriend Maria Rachel.

The Ben&Ben vocalists are among the coaches of “The Voice Kids Philippines” alonsgide Zack Tabudlo, Julie Anne San Jose, and Billy Crawford.

The next season of "The Voice Kids Philippines" will premiere on September 14 on GMA Network. 

The show will be hosted by Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes.
