Kevin Dasom reveals courting Herlene Budol

Kevin Dasom revealed the real score between him and Herlene Budol.

In an episode of “The Boobay and Tekla Show” on Sunday, September 14, Kevin confirmed, as he held Herlene’s hand, “I have courted Herlene already.”

“Not just to Herlene but to her parents as well, to her friends and family, to everyone close to Herlene,” the actor added.

According to Kevin, he approached the important people in Herlene's life because they mean a lot to her and to “show that I am being genuine and being honest.”

Herlene revealed that the Thai-Irish model and basketball player has been courting her since January 27, and that it is the first time a foreigner has courted her.

“Tsaka ‘yung syempre sa Pilipinas kasi 'di ba, kailangan mong magligaw talaga nang normal,” Herlene said. “Sabi niya, I ask you na ano, ‘if I courted with you,’ if it is okay to me. And then I said, okay, and then... Ano ba sagot ko?”

She added, “Syempre pabebe muna pero para sa akin, okay na ‘yun. Pero kasi akala niya ‘pag sinabi kong okay na, ibig sabihin kami na. I explained to you ‘di ba.”

Asked how long he is willing to wait for their relationship to be formal, Kevin said, “I'm old already, so I have the wisdom of age.”

Herlene also said to wait to make sure that Kevin’s intentions are pure.

“Alamin natin kung totoo ba talaga kasi syempre marami nagsabi-sabi na, kasi baka dahil nandito lang siya, kaya niya ‘ko bet, or baka dahil nag jo-join sa flow flow ba, kung ano mang flow 'yan. Ang akin, tignan natin." 

Herlene added that she challenged Kevin to talk to her manager, family, and friends to make sure he is serious about her.

“Ginawa naman niya lahat,” Herlene said. “Hindi ko rin masabi [kung kalian], alamin natin. Sasabihin ng times.”

In the same episode, Herlene asked if Kevin loves her. He looked into her eyes and answered, “Of course, I love you.”

Herlene said that she is thankful for Kevin’s love.

Herlene and Kevin starred together in “Binibining Marikit.” Tony Labrusca was also part of the cast.
