Claudine, Marjorie Barretto mourn passing of brother Mito
Claudine and Marjorie Barretto are grieving the death of their eldest brother, Mito.
In separate posts on Instagram, the sisters shared photos to remember their brother and wrote messages dedicated to him.
"My eldest brother, Mito, passed away so suddenly. So full of life. No warning, we are not prepared for this," Marjorie wrote.
"I can't imagine life without you—you were always present for every important occasion: every birthday, holiday, graduation, premiere night… always so proud of me and my children."
Marjorie said Mito was the "glue" that held their family together.
"When Dad passed, you stepped in and took his place in the family. You were our rock, and you were the best," she said. "The pain of losing you is unbearable, Mito. I didn’t know a life without you… and now I must learn to."
Claudine, meanwhile, expressed her love for her kuya and said her soul is broken with him gone.
"When we reconciled you swallowed your pride and said you're sorry. I didn't know that was already goodbye. I thank God and Mark for fixing us before leaving because I might've never forgave myself if we weren't OK," she said.
Marjorie asked those who knew Mito to say a prayer for him.
"I love love love love love you. Please guide us all here, watch over us as we suffer this great loss," she said.
