Wedding continues in Batanes despite Nando

Not even Super Typhoon Nando could stop Madeleine and Amiel from saying their “I dos,” as the couple pushed through with their wedding in Batanes despite the bad weather.

According to Ian Cruz’s report on “State of the Nation,” Madeleine said it was sunny the first few days they were in Batanes, and they were able to tour the province.

She added that they received news that a storm would arrive a day before their wedding.

There was no rain on the morning of their wedding day, but dark clouds formed and a strong gust of wind was felt during the ceremony, which was held on a cliff.

“I was trying to be calm. Tumitingin din ako sa coordinator namin for qeues kung kelangan namin umalis,” Madeleine said.

The weather seemingly cooperating, rain poured only after the couple said their “I dos” and sealed their vows with a kiss. The couple took and their guests took shelter.

“Anything happens in our relationship, in our marriage, we can really weather through kahit anong storm pa yan kayang kaya lampasan,” Amiel said.
