Mav Gonzales, Matthew Valeña recreate 'The Runaway Bride' poster in wedding photo

Mav Gonzales and her husband Matthew Valeña channeled Maggie Carpenter and Ike Graham of "The Runaway Bride" in one of their wedding photos!

On Instagram, the award-winning broadcast journalist shared a photo of herself with Matthew sitting on a staircase during a photoshoot around Seattle, Washington.

The couple was seen playfully recreating the iconic movie poster from the '90s romantic comedy starring Julia Roberts and Richard Gere.

In the photo, Mav and Matthew wore their wedding attire, with Mav sporting white sneakers and holding one of its laces, a nod to Julia's pose in the film. The two faced each other in a stance reminiscent of the original poster.

"When we decided to do a photoshoot around Seattle, I decided I was gonna wear sneakers to my wedding. [Matthew Valena] was slightly concerned I would be a runaway bride. And so we took that photo lol Swipe right!" Mav said.

"P.S. Brides, if your dress allows it - 10000% recommend wearing sneakers," she added.

Mav revealed on Thursday that she and Matthew already got married.

The Kapuso journalist announced her engagement to Matt in June. Before their wedding, she got a surprise bridal shower from her journalist friends.
