Saab Magalona’s son Vito performs Francis M. songs at a gig

Francis M. lives on through Saab Magalona’s son Vito!

On Instagram, Saab shared they celebrated her dad Francis M’s birthday at the vinyl record launch party of his album “FreeMan,” which came out 30 years ago.

Saab’s brother, Elmo, performed the songs with Hardware Syndrome, Francis M’s original band. But another treat of the night was Vito performing with Elmo.

Elmo introduced him as “the biggest and the youngest rockstar inside 19 East.”

Elmo and Vito performed some of Francis M’s most iconic songs like “Cold Summer Nights,” “Meron Akong Ano,” and “Kaleidoscope World.” The six-year-old effortlessly rapped and sang along with his uncle.

“I know papa is so happy,” Saab said in her caption.

“And I’m over the moon that my mom got to witness this,” she added, tagging Pia Magalona.

“I pointed to Pia watching Elmo with so much pride and I told Jim, ‘that’s me’ because my heart was also exploding as I watched Vito on stage,” Saab said.

Saab previously shared her kids’ growing interest in Francis M’s songs on Instagram.

Vito has been impressing netizens with his many musical talents, including singing and playing the drums to classic rock songs, writing a song on the spot, and correctly guessing musical keys.

He is Saab and Jim Bacarro’s second son. The couple tied the knot in 2015, and has an older son named Pancho.
