Kuya Kim shares Emman Atienza's reflection on her tattoo, reiterates call for kindness
Kuya Kim Atienza took to Instagram to share a clip from his daughter Emman Atienza's interview on Toni Gonzaga's vlog, published in November 2024.
In the clip, the late Sparkle artist shared the inspiration behind the tattoo on her ear.
"It's a butterfly with a music note, and it's inspired by Friedrich Nietzsche, and his quote [goes], 'And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who couldn't hear the music,'" Emman said in the vlog.
"And this tattoo is just a reminder that I have the freedom to dance to the music I hear, regardless of whether people can hear it too," she added.
In the caption, Kuya Kim quoted the German philosopher and reiterated his family's call for "just a little kindness" following Emman's passing.
Earlier, Emman's mom, Felicia Atienza, also shared a heartfelt reminder about the importance of choosing kindness.
A day after announcing Emman's passing, Kuya Kim uploaded a video of his daughter singing inside a studio.
Emman's passing was announced by Felicia, Kuya Kim, and their family on October 24. She was 19.
In what would be her last broadcast message on Instagram, posted on September 1, she opened up about the pressures of social media and her decision to take a break from TikTok.
