Kuya Kim Atienza expressed his gratitude to everyone who has reached out and offered their support to their family following the untimely passing of his daughter, Emman.

In a brief but heartfelt post on social media, Monday, Kuya Kim thanked those who sent their words of comfort and sympathy, saying he appreciates all of them.

"Thank you so much for all the messages of comfort to the family," he wrote in the caption. "We may not be able to reply but we appreciate you all."

According to Kuya Kim, details of Emman's wake in Manila will follow.

"Emman will be home," he added.

The Atienza family announced Emman's passing on Friday, October 24. She was 19 years old.

In the past days, Emman's family paid tribute to the late Sparkle artist and honored her memory in posts on social media.

On Monday, her sister Eliana wrote about how much she missed Emman and reflected on the dreams they once shared.

“We were supposed to co-create a better world where our children could play together, and we could laugh knowing we fought and struggled to build this for them,” Eliana said. “I hope this message reaches you wherever you are. Call me soon, okay?”

Previously, Kuya Kim shared a clip from Emman's interview on Toni Gonzaga's vlog, where she talked about the inspiration behind her ear tattoo, and reiterated their family's call for "just a little kindness." He also posted a video of Emman singing and wrote, "The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away."

Emman's mom, Felicia, had also shared a reminder about the importance of choosing kindness.

In what would be Emman's last broadcast message on Instagram, posted on September 1, she opened up about the pressures of social media and taking a break from TikTok.
