Tricia Robredo is engaged!

The licensed medical doctor shared the life update on Instagram Wednesday, along with lovely photos of the proposal, which took place while they were on a morning run a year ago today.

“My morning run was cut short a year ago today. Unli miles were promised to make up for it,” Tricia wrote in an Instagram post that pinned to Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Celebrities like Dani Barretto and Lyn Ching-Pascual sent their congratulations to the newly engaged couple in the comment section.

Tricia is the second daughter of Naga City Mayor and former Vice President Leni Robredo and the late Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo.

She passed the Physician Licensure Examination in November 2020 and finished her masters of medical science in Harvard University in 2024.

Tricia previously served as a volunteer doctor under the “Bayanihan E-Konsulta” program — a free teleconsultation service launched by the Office of the Vice-President amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
