Angel Locsin praises stepson Joaquin Arce for growth in 'Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0'

Angel Locsin is a proud stepmother to Joaquin Arce.

On X (formerly Twitter), the actress reshared a post from "Pinoy Big Brother: Collab Edition 2.0" which featured a scene showing a conversation between Joaquin, Inigo Jose, and Reich Alim. 

In the caption, Angel praised Joaquin for his growth as a person.

"I don't usually comment, but seeing Joaquin grow from a little boy into someone who helps, listens, and keeps the peace at home makes me proud," Angel wrote.

In the same post, Angel also revealed in her post that Joaquin is completely deaf in his right ear, and asked for a little bit of understanding.

"If he ever talks a bit loud or doesn't respond, please forgive him—our son is completely deaf in his right ear," she said. 

Previously, Angel expressed her support for Joaquin when the 18-year-old carried a pile of heavy rule books in his arms as part of punishment for their violations. 

Joaquin is the son of film producer Neil Arce, the husband of Angel.

"PBB Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0" airs weeknights at 9:40 p.m., Saturdays at 6:15 p.m., and Sundays at 10:05 p.m. on GMA Network.
