Kylie Padilla honors mom Liezl Sicangco, fellow mothers 'who strive to be their children's protectors'
Kylie Padilla paid tribute to her mom, Liezl Sicangco, and all mothers who continue to show strength and selflessness in raising their children.
On Instagram, the Sparkle star reflected on how being a mom herself has transformed her life.
"Motherhood is what forever changed me, the sacrifice, the endless selflessness and silent resilience will forever be what I hold onto when things feel hard to navigate. Watching my own mother navigate her journey, influenced me deeply in mine. I owe her so much," Kylie wrote.
She honored her fellow moms, expressing admiration for their perseverance and unconditional love.
"To all mothers, who strive their best to be better people, who strive to be their children's protectors despite how the world might see them I salute your strength," Kylie said.
The actress ended her post with a personal message to her mom.
"I salute and love you. Thank you for your good strong and selfless heart. Every day I appreciate you more in my own journey of motherhood. I love you," she said.
Kylie is the daughter of Liezl and Robin Padilla.
She has two sons, Alas and Axl, with her ex-husband Aljur Abrenica.
Earlier, Kylie shared a brief message on social media after AJ Raval revealed that she has three kids with Ajur.
Kylie did not name names, but she said she had long been aware of the situation.
"Ito lang po comment ko para matapos na matagal ko na pong alam pero s'yempre inuna po namin ang kapakanan ng mga bata. Sobrang close sila at 'yun pinaka importante," she said. "Happy that now 'di na kailangan magtago. Proud of you. Peace all around. Sana matapos na drama."
