AJ Raval says Aljur Abrenica had no problem revealing kids: ‘Ako lang po ang nagtatago’

AJ Raval opened up about why she chose to keep her kids out of the public eye, and that Aljur Abrenica had no issue with showing them to the public.

On Thursday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” AJ admitted that it was not easy to hide the kids.

“Pero ‘pag lumalabas po kami, hindi naman po ako nagtago talaga as in totally tago. Like eight months ‘yung tiyan ko, nag-go-grocery pa rin po ako. Natutuwa po ako sa mga tao na nakikita ko kasi nirerespeto po nila. Hindi sila nagpi-picture,” she said.

The actress added that her choice to keep things private stemmed from her upbringing. 

“Hindi ko po siya nakikitang problema kasi gano’n din po ‘yung pinagdaanan namin sa tatay ko. Tinago din po kami for a time. Lumalaki po kami, naintindihan po namin ‘yung sitwasyon,” she said.

AJ and Aljur have three children together. According to AJ on Thursday, the youngest, Abraham, is two months old.

She recalled feeling a sense of relief when her father, Jeric Raval, accidentally revealed her children to the public.

“Masaya po talaga ako no’n. Kasi no’ng time po na ‘yon, nag-a-ask na po ako, nagpe-pray po ako ng freedom. And then ‘yung tatay ko, biglang nadulas. Blessing in disguise, Tito Boy. Masaya kami. Masaya ako,” AJ said.

Per AJ, Aljur does not want to hide the children, and her decision to keep her family life private had nothing to do with her career. 

“Si Aljur, wala naman po siyang problem. Ayaw po niyang itago ‘yung mga kids. Ako lang po ang nagtatago sa mga tao kasi naniniwala din po ako sa evil eye kaya ayoko rin pong ipakita ang mga bata,” she said.

Earlier, AJ said that her love story with Aljur began in 2022. Aljur and Kylie Padilla separated in 2021.

AJ denied that she was the third party that caused the breakup between Aljur and Kylie.

AJ and Aljur made their relationship public on Valentine's Day 2023.
