AJ Raval says the father of her eldest daughter is from 'very private' family

AJ Raval addressed more questions about her five children in the continuation of her interview on "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda" aired on Thursday.

In his opening spiel for the episode, the King of Talk said he was surprised with AJ's revelations during their live interview on Wednesday and invited her for a taped second part so she can clarify some things.

AJ earlier said she has five children in total, with her three youngest fathered by Aljur Abrenica. Tito Boy asked the actress about the father of her eldest children, seven-year-old Ariana and the late Aaron. 

"[Hindi siya artista]. Very private family po sila," she said.

AJ said Ariana's father is fulfilling his responsibilities to their child.

Meanwhile, Ariana and her current partner, Aljur, have a good relationship as stepfather and stepdaughter.

"Sobrang ganda ng dynamics nila. Si Aljur marami pong natuturo kay Yana [Ariana]," she said.

"Yun pong bata 'yon hindi siya malaro, puro lang po siya nakadikit sa akin. Hindi po siya malikot. Ngayon naturuan ni Aljur kung paano maging atleta 'yung bata."

AJ also revealed that she initially found it challenging to build a relationship with Ariana, as they were growing and maturing together.

"Minsan hindi ko siya naiintindihan kasi bata din ako noong time na [pinanganak ko siya]. Pero OK naman po kami. Masaya naman kami," she said.

AJ and Aljur's love story began in 2022 after they worked together on the 2021 film "Nerisa." They made their relationship public on Valentine's Day 2023.

Aljur is married to Kylie Padilla, but they separated in 2021. They have two sons together, Alas and Axl.

After AJ finally confirmed her children with Aljur, Kylie expressed support for her fellow mom and said that their kids have good sibling relationships. —Jade Veronique Yap/MGP, GMA Integrated News
