Valeen Montenegro gives birth to first child
Valeen Montenegro and Riel Manuel have welcomed their firstborn!
On Instagram, the married couple shared a joint post, revealing that Valeen gave birth on November 11 after 28 hours of labor.
According to Riel, watching Valeen go through labor "showed me what real strength looks like."
"She’s my hero," he added as he thanked the commedienne "for enduring every challenge, every ache, and every worry just to bring our little one into this world.”
In the comment section, celebrities like Carla Abellana, Maxine Medina, and Chariz Solomon wrote their congratulations to the couple.
In July, Valeen held a gender reveal party for her close friends, but she has yet to publicly reveal the gender of her baby.
Valeen and Riel Manuel got engaged in 2022 and tied the knot in January 2024. They announced they were expecting their first child in June.
Before her pregnancy, Valeen finished her first full marathon back in February, a real feat for a fitness buff like Valeen.
