Ellen Adarna and Derek Ramsay are making headlines after Ellen posted a series of Instagram Stories about her husband's alleged infidelity.

The couple has been the subject of separation rumors for months now, and Ellen's allegations seem to confirm that they are no longer together.

Ellen and Derek had a whirlwind romance that saw them walking down the aisle less than a year after they began dating.

Here is a timeline of their relationship.

January 2021: Dating rumors

The couple was first caught in dating rumors after they were spotted hanging out together on different occasions in January 2021.

They were first seen getting cozy at a dinner party on January 11, 2021 with their close friend Ruffa Gutierrez.

Just weeks after their first sighting, Ellen and Derek were once again spotted having a vacation in Batangas.

February 2021: Relationship confirmed

Ellen and Derek confirmed in February 2021 that they have been together for a month.

March 2021: Engagement

The couple got engaged in March 2021. Derek previously said Ellen was the girl he wanted "to spend the rest of [his] life with."

August 2021: YouTube channel opened

Derek and Ellen launched their YouTube channel "Derek and Ellen" where viewers saw a glimpse of their daily lives as a couple.

September 2021: Pamamanhikan

In September 2021, Derek and Ellen went on a family vacation in Siargao with Ellen's son to John Lloyd Cruz, Elias. 

Days later, the actor asked for Ellen's hand in marriage from her family.

October 2021: Prenup photos

In October 2021, Ellen and Derek shared their prenup photos which featured dreamy portraits of the couple dressed in beige, surrounded by tall grass in an open field.

They also dropped hot and daring prenup photos where they can be seen posing topless while in an open field.

November 2021: Wedding

The couple tied the knot on November 11, 2021 in an intimate ceremony at Rancho Bernardo in Bataan. 

Before their wedding,  Ellen enjoyed an intimate, Bali-inspired bridal shower held outdoors, surrounded by her loved ones. She wore a "Bride to Be" sash during the celebration, which was beautifully decorated with rattan lanterns and bamboo chairs.

February 2022: First anniversary as couple 

The couple celebrated their first anniversary as a couple in February 2022. In her post, Ellen wrote a message for Derek and called him her "ex-boyfriend."

In the same month, the couple, together with Elias, jetted off to South Africa for their honeymoon.

November 2022: First wedding anniversary

The couple flew to Peru to celebrate their wedding anniversary in November 2022.

While in Peru, Derek and Ellen "tied the knot" anew, this time in a Peruvian despacho ceremony led by a local shaman.

February 2023: Second anniversary as couple

Derek and Ellen celebrated their second anniversary as a couple in February 2023, with the actor asking his wife to marry him again.

November 2023: Second wedding anniversary 

Derek and Ellen marked their second wedding anniversary by sharing photos from their travels on Instagram, highlighting adventurous moments such as hiking and snowboarding.

December 2023: Miscarriage

Derek revealed that Ellen had a miscarriage. He shared that they found out about her pregnancy during their vacation in Spain.

October 2024: Ellen gives birth to their first child Liana

Nearly a year after Derek's revelation, Ellen gave birth to their first child together, a daughter they named Liana.

February 2025: Liana gets baptized

The couple held Liana's baptismal ceremony in February 2025 with celebrity doctor Vicky Belo as one of the guests of honor. 

August 2025: Derek calls out fake news about daughter Liana

In August, Derek called out the fake news circulating on social media about his family. In his post, Derek said that Liana is his daughter and that Ellen has been a loyal wife to him.

September 2025: Separation rumors

Derek denied that he and Ellen have broken up. He addressed the separation rumors in an Instagram Stories video, responding to claims made by content creator Xian Gaza.

October 2025: Liana's first birthday

Ellen and Derek celebrated Liana’s first birthday, with Ellen hosting a party that Derek did not attend.

Meanwhile, Derek posted photos on Instagram, describing Liana as his "greatest joy" and sharing a heartfelt message for his daughter.

November 2025: Cheating allegations

Just a month after celebrating their daughter's birthday, Ellen claimed that Derek cheated on her.

Ellen posted Instagram Stories showing messages between Derek and another woman, dated February 13, 2021, shortly after their relationship became official on February 4.

"I found out about it three weeks ago, this month only. May nagsumbong sa akin," Ellen said.
