Dionela proposes to GF Meizy Mendoza at his concert

Dionela is now engaged to his girlfriend, Meizy Mendoza!

On TikTok, Emi Records shared a video of the OPM star joined by Meizy on the stage of his “The Grace” concert held Friday evening.

After Meizy sang her part in his song “Bahaghari,” Dionela became emotional looking back at their journey together.

“Sinamahan mo ‘ko sa mula umpisa hanggang sa dulo, mahal. Naalala ko noong kasama kita no’ng binenta ko ‘yung huling gitara ko ta’s gusto ko nang mag-quit. Ta’s umiiyak tayong dalawa no’n. Tapos nandito na tayo sa New Frontier, ang daming tao. Sinamahan mo ‘ko mula umpisa hanggang ngayon. Gusto sana kitang yayain, samahan mo ‘ko habambuhay,” he said.

He took out the ring, knelt on his knee, and asked the question “Will you marry me?”

Meizy immediately said yes and they held each other in a tight hug.

Dionela is known for his songs “Marilag,” “Sining,” “Musika,” and more.
