Ellen Adarna on money matters with exes: 'I don't depend'

Ellen Adarna got real about what it’s like to deal with finances concerning her exes.

In an Q&A session on her Instagram Stories Friday morning, a follower asked Ellen, “How do you handle finances with your baby daddies?”

She answered, “To be honest, I don’t depend.”

“If they give, they give. If they don’t, they don’t. Simple,” Ellen said.

“I don’t demand,” she added.

The question was among she entertained as she was killing time and waiting for her lunch break.

Ellen opened the Q&A session by answering a question about moving back to Cebu to be with her family. According to the celebrity, she does plan to move back to Cebu "in a year or two."

She couldn't move back asap because her eldest, Elias, is still studying, Ellen explained. "If he wasn't studying, I would've packed my bags and gone. It would've been easier for me," she said.

When asked how she was doing, Ellen said she is "good [and] busy."

"I've been dropping and picking up my son in school, bringing his lunch to school. Cooking for them. So far so good," she said.

Ellen is transitioning to a new life. In November, she surprised everyone with a revelation about the alleged infidelity of her husband, Derek Ramsay.

In her exposé, Ellen revealed they were no longer living together, that she was staying put in his house while her house was being renovated, that she enlisted the local government's help in getting him to move out temporarily, and that John Lloyd Cruz, the father of Elias, is a good provider.

By late November, Ellen had packed up some 12 suitcases, ready to leave Derek’s home.

The couple had been the subject of breakup rumors for months, with Derek denying they had split sometime in September.
