Kylie Padilla says Aljur Abrenica gave her some advice when it comes to her suitors

Kylie Padilla said that Aljur Abrenica gave some advice to her when it comes to her suitors.

In a latest episode of "Your Honor," hosts Chariz Solomon and Buboy Villar asked the Sparkle star if she and Aljur were able to talk on a few occasions.

Kylie said that a conversation between them happened back in August when they brought their kids, Axl and Alas, to a circus show.

"Hindi ko alam if nagtanong siya or I brought it up, I don't know. Tapos parang sinabi niya lang na mag-ingat ka sa manliligaw mo ah. Kasi alam niyang single ako eh. Tapos may nabanggit akong manliligaw, nagbigay siya ng opinyon," Kylie recalled. 

Although separated, Kylie and Aljur share a healthy co-parenting setup, with the former saying that everything is "peaceful" between them.

According to her, the only hard thing about co-parenting was the time she had to explain to Alas their situation.

"May one time kasi nagtatanong si Alas bakit kayo naghiwalay? Kasi siyempre, andoon siya. May times nandoon siya kapag nag-aaway kami. Parang 'yung sinabi ni Alas 'yan sa akin, does Papa not love you? Ganoon 'yung tanong niya sa akin," she said.

Kylie then explained to her son that despite their fallout, she and Aljur still love both of them.

"I tried to explain. Tapos after no'n hindi rin ako nagpakita ng kahit anong emosyon kasi ayokong makita na it's an issue na mabigat. Ang kinausap ko, diniretso ko na si Aljur na ganito ang sinabi ng anak mo. Please explain. Mas magandang manggaling sa 'yo, kesa sa akin," she added.

The former couple married in 2018 and separated in 2021 after Aljur cheated on Kylie.

Meanwhile, Aljur is now in a relationship with AJ Raval. They have three children. —Jade Veronique Yap/MGP, GMA Integrated News
