Will Ashley admits he's torpe; Dustin Yu says he's the type to fight for love

When it comes to love, Will Ashley and Dustin Yu share contrasting but sincere approaches—from traditional courtship to fearless confession.

In their GMA Integrated News Interviews with Nelson Canlas, which aired on "24 Oras," Wednesday, Will admitted that he relates to his "Love You So Bad" character's torpe personality.

"Isa pang nakaka-relate ako don kay Vic is 'yung pagiging torpe," he said. "Torpe po ako. Totoo. Introvert nga ako eh. Na-work ko naman na po sa sarili ko, the way I present myself to people. Pero 'yung pagiging torpe ko, nando'n pa rin 'yun."

When it comes to courting, Will said he prefers the traditional approach.

"Ano po ako eh, 'yung old way. Kumbaga parang, ano talaga, 'yung ligaw talaga na ang daming pinagdadaanan," he said.

Dustin, meanwhile, described himself as someone who does not give up easily when it comes to love.

"Ako kasi 'yung tipong hindi sumusuko. 'Pag gusto ko 'yung tao, sasabihin ko talaga sa kaniya na gusto ko siya. I mean, hindi na ako nagsasayang ng oras," he said.

Dustin said he goes all-out when it comes to love.

"All-out ako 'pag nagmamahal eh. 'Yun talaga eh. Kumbaga, ibibigay ko talaga lahat. Masaya ako 'pag nagmamahal ako. I'm happy 'pag may minamahal ako. So talagang binibigay ko lahat," he said.

Will and Dustin star alongside Bianca De Vera in "Love You So Bad."

Bianca will give life to Savannah, Dustin will play LA, and Will will play Vic.

Directed by Mae Cruz Alviar, "Love You So Bad" is one of the entries of the Metro Manila Film Festival 2025. It will be shown in cinemas starting December 25. —Carby Rose Basina/MGP, GMA Integrated News
