Ellen Adarna says she initially didn't allow Liana to go with Derek Ramsay on vacation to England

Derek Ramsay has shared photos with daughter Liana in England, where they are spending the Christmas holidays with his family. But it wasn't supposed to be the case.

In an AMA session on Instagram Stories, Liana's mom, Ellen Adarna, said she initially didn't allow the one-year-old to go on the trip.

"I allowed Liana to with her father's family because nakiusap yung papa ni Derek if Liana could go," Ellen began. "At first I didn't allow but he's sick and I don't want to carry that guilt, because who knows what's going to happen," she continued.

"I don't want to carry that guilt na I didn't allow Liana to spend time with her grandfather. Can I sleep peacefully at night if something happens to him and I didn't allow her," Ellen said. 

The celebrity was responding to a netizen, who asked if her children are spending Christmas with their daddies.

According to Ellen, her eldest, Elias, is also spending Christmas with John Lloyd Cruz. "This is the first time ever na hindi divided yung time. Before, it was half and half," Ellen said.

"Elias is spending Christmas with John Lloyd but he will be with me after Christmas [and during] New Year."

Ellen herself is in Cebu for the holidays, after she announced her separation from Derek following his alleged infidelity. 

Ellen and Derek's breakup was just one of a number of celebrity breakups that rocked 2025. 

In her AMA, Ellen said she is committing to five years of celibacy as she focuses on her children and healing her nervous system. When asked for her biggest lesson in love, she said "don't rush."
