Carla Abellana on marriage to Reginald Santos: ‘A love story over 20 years in the making’
Carla Abellana is officially Mrs. Santos!
The Kapuso actress took to Instagram to share their wedding film, featuring clips of their heartfelt vows and the beautiful day they exchanged their “I dos.”
According to Carla, her non-showbiz partner, Reginald Santos, is her “first and last” love.
“A love story over 20 years in the making,” she said. “Two lives coming full circle. This is our story.”
In her vow, Carla said she reconnected with her high school sweetheart at a time when she had “stopped looking for anything or anyone.”
“I once read that a great love story is when two people let go of one another, only to find their way back to each other,” she said.
“Thank you, Lord, most especially for giving me now the clearest answer to all my painful whys,” she added.
Meanwhile, in Reginald’s vow, he looked back on the first time he and Carla fell in love during their youth.
“We were young back then, we fell in love, and then life had interim plans for us,” he said.
“We reconnected at the perfect time. We are now the best versions of ourselves,” he added.
Carla and Reginald tied the knot on December 27.
Carla confirmed her engagement with Reginald earlier in December, teasing a photo of her ring-clad hand.
