Love declarations and relationship lessons from celebrities on 'Fast Talk With Boy Abunda'
"Fast Talk with Boy Abunda" aired a year-end special episode that looked back on the happenings in the entertainment industry in 2025.
On Wednesday's episode, Tito Boy was joined by Chariz Solomon as they revisited controversies, breakups, and celebrity reflections on love and relationships.
For Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo, love is a promise to stay, regardless of circumstances.
"Nasa tuktok man tayo o nasa pinakalugmok, hindi mawawala sa tabi mo," Dennis said.
"Kung uulitin ko 'yung buhay ko, wala na siguro akong ibang gustong makasama ulit kundi si Dennis. Hindi ko susukuan ang kahit anong highs and lows ng buhay namin. Mamahalin ko siya hangga't kaya ko," Jennylyn said.
For Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legaspi, love is a shared responsibility.
"Since mag-asawa na kayo, you are one. So, if you are taking care of yourself, dapat alagaan mo din 'yung asawa mo," Carmina said.
Bianca Umali's reflections centered on honesty and transparency.
"Mahalaga ang honesty and transparency at all times, even if masakit po ang sasabihin ninyo sa isa't isa. As long as ang goal ay maging totoo kayo at walang tinatago, hindi po 'yan magbubunga into something bigger," she said.
Jodi Sta. Maria, meanwhile, spoke about love and healing in the context of moving on.
"In terms of moving on, always remember that there is life after this painful situation. Your story is not over yet," she said.
For Christian Bautista, love is an ongoing mission.
"I hope that I have been a good and loving partner for the last few years and I will continue my mission and my purpose, which is to love you completely," he told his wife Kat.
EA Guzman and Shaira Diaz's love story was revisited through a clip highlighting patience and commitment.
"Mahal kita dahil inantay kita ng 12 taon," EA said.
"Mahal kita kasi ikaw ang asawa ko at forever na mamahalin," Shaira said.
For Alfred Vargas, love came with gratitude and certainty.
"Amore, jackpot na jackpot ako sa 'yo. I won the lottery of life when I met you," he told his wife Yasmine.
Rayver Cruz vowed that he will always take care of Julie Anne San Jose.
"Pangako na palagi kong alagaan si Julie. I promise to be loyal and mamahalin ko po siya forever hanggang sa pagtanda namin," he said.
Zeinab Harake and Ray Parks also reflected on partnership and the future.
"Forever ako magiging great wife and mom sa aming mga future kids and sa aming dalawang anak," Zeinab said.
"Nangangako ako na mamahalin kita through the ups and through the downs at parati kitang susuportahan," Ray said.
More stars also shared more personal perspectives on love.
Charo Santos recalled being in love without worrying about the opinions of others, while KC Concepcion said she now feels ready to share her life with someone, having learned how to love through past relationships.
"I was in love. The opinion of the rest of the world didn't matter," Charo said.
"I am ready to share my life with someone and I think natuto din akong magmahal through the years with every relationship na dumating sa buhay ko," KC said.
For Richard Gomez, love and marriage meant resolving conflicts privately.
"May times na may differences kami ni Lucy, you have to resolve it na kayong dalawa lang. Dapat hindi siya kasama 'yung parents niyo, hindi mo sinasama 'yung kapatid mo," he said.
Dingdong Dantes echoed a similar sentiment about communication.
"Huwag matutulog hangga't hindi nareresolba ang isang bagay," he said.
Mariel Padilla, meanwhile, spoke about maintaining a peaceful home environment.
"Ayoko ng sigawan. Bawal sa akin 'yung gano'n. Ayoko because ayoko na magkaroon ng experience 'yung mga anak ko na nagsisigawan sa bahay. Ayoko ng gano'n," she said. "So hindi kami gano'n. Pero ramdam na ramdam mo sa texts."
For Judy Ann Santos, love was found in everyday connection.
"Mindless conversations. Conversations na maaaring malalim, maaaring para sa kinabukasan ng mga bata," she said. —Carby Rose Basina/MGP, GMA Integrated News
