Mav Gonzales, husband Matthew Valeña reveal gender of first baby

Mav Gonzales and Matthew Valeña are expecting a baby girl!

On Instagram, the Kapuso broadcast journalist shared a video of their family's spontaneous gender reveal party, where each of their relatives bet on whether it would be a boy or a girl.

After everyone present had placed their bets, Matthew revealed that they are having a girl.

Mav also shared that their soon-to-be-born daughter had started kicking on the last day of 2025.

"New milestone unlocked," she said.

In December 2025, the married couple announced they are expecting at "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda."

In October 2025, Mav shared photos from her wedding to Matthew. She announced their engagement in June of the same year.
