Sophia Laforteza of Katseye bonds with family in Hong Kong

Katseye member Sophia Laforteza is getting a well-deserved family vacation.

Her father, Godfrey Laforteza, shared on Instagram that they traveled to Hong Kong for their first complete family trip after five years.

He shared photos of Sophia, her mom Carla Guevara, and brothers Basil and Oreo, spending time at Hong Kong Disneyland and strolling the city streets.

This vacation follows Sophia’s 23rd birthday on December 31, which she also celebrated with her family in the Philippines.

Sophia is part of the global girl group Katseye, who debuted in 2023. They visited Manila in 2024 for a fan showcase and other appearances and collabs.

Katseye is nominated for Best New Artist for the Grammys this year, and their song “ Gabriela ” is nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.

The girl group is also known for their songs “ Gnarly ,” “ Gameboy ,” "Touch," and "Debut.”
