Kiray Celis, husband Stephan Estopia attend Traslacion 2026
Kiray Celis and her husband, Stephan Estopia, attended the Traslacion 2026 for the first time as a married couple.
On social media, the actress and comedienne shared photos of herself and Stephan clad in custom long-sleeved shirts bearing the image of Jesus Nazareno.
"Ilang taon deboto ng Poon Jesus Nazareno at bata na kumakanta every year para sa Poon Jesus Nazareno," she wrote in the caption.
According to Kiray, she and Stephan attended the Traslacion together in their six years as girlfriend and boyfriend.
"At ngayon, Kasal na.. sabay parin pupunta!" she said.
She also expressed her gratitude to Jesus Nazareno and hoped that she and Stephan would finally have a baby by the time they attend their next Traslacion.
"Salamat sa lahat ng Blessings AMA. Mahal na mahal ka namin! Sana po sa susunod na punta namin sayo, may baby napo kami," she added.
Kiray and Stephan got engaged in April 2025 and tied the knot in December of the same year.
The andas carrying the image of the Jesus Nazareno had departed the Quirino Grandstand at 4 a.m. on Friday after the "Panalangin sa Bukang Liwayway" or the morning prayer.
The Traslacion initially moved quickly, matching the 2024 pace of around one kilometer per hour from the Quirino Grandstand to the National Museum.
However, devotees were reportedly converging at the front of the andas, causing the procession to move slowly, per church officials. The stretch from Finance Road through Ayala Boulevard and across Ayala — about a one-kilometer distance — took more than six hours to complete.
Thus far, an estimated 686,600 devotees joined the Traslacion 2026, according to the Quiapo Church Command Post on Friday. As of 1 p.m., the church said that 556,600 were at Ayala Boulevard while 130,000 were at Quiapo.
