Rufa Mae Quinto honors late husband on 10th wedding anniversary, thanks him for their daughter

Rufa Mae Quinto honors late husband on 10th wedding anniversary: 'Salamat sa pang habang buhay na ikaw'

Rufa Mae Quinto paid tribute to her late husband, Trevor Magallanes, on what would have been their 10th wedding anniversary.

On Instagram, the actress and comedian shared some snaps showing her motherhood journey with their daughter, Athena. She said that she and Trevor were "hands-on parents" and added that her experience of being a mother, especially during her time in America where she got to be a normal person, was "pinaka maganda at masaya na naganap sa buhay ko."

“Salamat sa pang habang buhay na ikaw, Trev!  Mula sa tummy ko siya inalagaan ko ng mabuti dala na din ng sobrang pag mamahalan natin,” she wrote as she greeted him a happy annivesary.

“Salamat for giving me Athena. Kitang kita ko ang lahat ng ikaw sa kanyang mga mata, ugali, tawa, mukha, smile, magsalita, kamay, boses, kuko, lahat na,” she added.

Ending her post, Rufa said they miss Trevor “physically,” but they are comforted by the fact that they knew Trevor would always be there watching them.

“We miss you physically, pero alam namin kasama ka namin parati. Andyan lang watching our daughter,” Rufa said.

“Patuloy mo akong alalayan sa mga pangarap natin para kay Athena. Paano pa lakihin sya ng masaya, mabait, matalino, cute, funny. Healthy wealthy way to go go go!” she added.

Rufa Mae broke the news of Trevor's passing back in July 31, saying they were still gathering factual information. She later clarified that Trevor's death was not due to foul play or suicide, but rather natural causes.

In a separate Facebook post later on, Rufa admitted to the shock of being a widow as she and Trevor had never gotten annulled.

Rufa and Trevor got married in 2016 and welcomed their daughter Athena the following year. In early 2025, Rufa said that she and Trevor were going through a rough patch but that she had no plans to file for divorce.
