Anne Curtis pays tribute to late father: 'We’ll never part, dad'
Anne Curtis dedicated a moving Instagram post for her father, James Curtis-Smith, who passed away earlier this January.
The “It’s Showtime” host shared photos with James, taken from her childhood until recent times.
Anne said she had already left Australia “with a heavy heart,” but "in my memories, we’ll never part, dad."
“I’ll see you when I see you, my huckleberry friend, my gentle giant, my father dearest —always, until then,” she added.
The actress also opened up about her grief, which she said “comes in waves.”
“The pain may pass (occasionally popping in to say hi) but remembering the special little moments I had with Dad is something I’ll always do,” she said.
Anne thanked everyone for their messages of condolences.
Anne and her sister Jasmine Curtis-Smith announced the “unexpected yet peaceful” passing of their father on January 7.
A cause of death was not revealed.
In 2023, James held an intimate 80th birthday celebration with his family in La Union.
Anne, her husband, Erwan Heussaff, and their daughter, Dahlia, were present at the occasion. Jasmine and Anne's half-siblings were also there with their children.
