Rufa Mae Quinto recalls 2016 with memories of late husband Trevor Magallanes
Rufa Mae Quinto looked back on one of the most memorable years of her life in a heartfelt social media post.
On Instagram, the actress and comedian shared throwback photos from 2016, including ones with her late husband, Trevor Magallanes, and called it “the happiest year ever” in her life.
“I met my husband, I got married I got pregnant and had a baby. I had a home and family in the USA, the rest is history!” Rufa Mae wrote in the caption.
Rufa Mae broke the news of Trevor's passing in July 2025, saying they were still gathering factual information. She later clarified that Trevor's death was not due to foul play or suicide, but rather natural causes.
In a separate Facebook post later on, Rufa admitted to the shock of being a widow, as she and Trevor had never gotten annulled.
Rufa and Trevor got married in 2016 and welcomed their daughter Athena the following year. In early 2025, Rufa said that she and Trevor were going through a rough patch but that she had no plans to file for divorce.
