Angelica Panganiban says her favorite Glaiza De Castro role is being her best friend

Angelica Panganiban and Glaiza De Castro are arguably among showbiz's most genuine friendships.

And on Glaiza’s birthday, Angelica took the opportunity to celebrate her amiga with the most heartfelt of greetings.

On Instagram, Angelica shared photos of their moments together through the years — from beach trips and music festivals to Glaiza’s wedding.

“Sa kinalakihan nating industriya, napakadami nating ginagampanang role sa buhay,” Angelica wrote.

“Pero ang pinaka-paborito kong role mo ay ang maging matalik kong kaibigan,” she added. “Mahusay ka dun.”

[In the industry we grew up in, we've already played so many roles in life. But my favorite among the roles you have played, is being my best friend. You're good in that one.]

"Yung rollercoaster ng emosyon ko sa pag swipe, salamat amigah! Mahal na mahal kitaaaaaa," Glaiza replied in the comment section.

On her Instagram Stories, Angelica gave a twist to the 2016 trend, posting a photo with the birthday celebrant from 2008 and said, "Mula noon, hanggang ngayon, amigah rocks."

Previously, Angelica said Glaiza raised the standard of being a best friend. She also described the "Sang’gre" star as “pinakamasarap maging kaibigan.”

The two have seen each other through many of life's twists and turns, and have celebrated their big life events together.

Angelica has been married to Gregg Homan since 2023, while Glaiza and David Rainey tied the knot in 2021.
