Meghan Trainor welcomes third child via surrogacy
Meghan Trainor is now a mom of three!
On Instagram, the “Made You Look” singer announced that she and her husband, “Spy Kids” actor Daryl Sabara, welcomed their baby girl, Mikey Moon Trainor, via surrogacy.
“Our baby girl Mikey Moon Trainor has finally made it to the world thanks to our incredible, superwoman surrogate,” Meghan wrote.
She then thanked the medical team who helped them through their surrogacy journey.
“We are forever grateful to all the doctors, nurses, teams who made this dream possible. We had endless conversations with our doctors in this journey and this was the safest way for us to be able to continue growing our family,” Meghan said.
The American singer also expressed excitement over their newest bundle of joy.
“We are over the moon in love with this precious girl. Riley and Barry have been so excited, they even got to choose her middle name. We are going to enjoy our family time now, love you all,” she ended.
According to the Cleveland Clinic, surrogacy is an arrangement in which a person carries and delivers a baby on behalf of another individual or couple, typically through in vitro fertilization (IVF).
Meghan and Daryl tied the knot in 2018. They welcomed their first baby, Riley, in 2021.
Their second child, Barry, was born in 2023.
Meghan is the singer behind the hit songs “Dear Future Husband” and “All About That Bass” among others.
