Claudine Barretto thanks siblings for taking care of mom Inday: 'In grief, we are all united'
Following Inday Barretto's death, her daughter Claudine has taken to social media to thank all her siblings for taking care of their mother.
"We all did our part. JJ Michie, Gia, G, Marjorie and all the apes, pati apo sa tuhod," Claudine wrote in a Facebook post Friday morning.
"Pantay-pantay inalagaan ang mommy," she added.
Acknowledging their messy situation, Claudine said "in grief we are all united."
"Peace over everything," she added, as she thanked everybody for their prayers.
Describing her mom as "the strongest move loving mother anyone could ask for," Claudine bid Inday goodbye and said they will all be OK.
"How can we not? We are Inday Barretto's children."
The death of the Barretto matriarch was announced by JJ on social media Thursday afternoon.
"Rest in peace, mom. I love you," he said.
Claudine soon followed with her posts.
India's cause of death has not been disclosed, though Claudine had asked for prayers for her mom's health as early as September 2024, when she was hospitalized for lupus.
In the last couple of months of 2025, Inday was in and out of the hospital, with JJ providing health updates of Inday on social media.
Last January 27, he said she will be transferred to the ICU.
Inday was married to Miguel Barretto, who passed away in 2019.
They have seven children, including Mito who passed away in September 2025.
