Dani, Claudia Barretto pay tribute to late grandmother Inday

Sisters Dani and Claudia Barretto took to social media to pay tribute to their late grandmother Inday. 

In a series of Instagram Stories, Dani posted a set of precious photos and videos featuring their family's precious moments with their Lola Inday.

She also shared a heartfelt photo of Inday with their late lolo Miguel Barretto and wrote, “Together again.”

In another, Dani uploaded a photo of herself with Miguel and Inday. In the caption, she said: “ I love you both. Rest in Peace, Mama Day.” 

Her sister, Claudia, also shared photos of herself with her lola Inday via her Instagram Stories, while their mom, Marjorie reposted old happy boomerangs of the family posted by her nephew, the actor Pocholo Barretto.

The death of the Barretto matriarch was announced by her son JJ, also known as Joaquin, on social media Thursday afternoon.

Earlier Friday, Claudine thanked all her siblings for taking care of their mother.

Inday's cause of death has not been disclosed, though Claudine had asked for prayers for her mom's health as early as September 2024, when she was hospitalized for lupus.

In the last couple of months of 2025, Inday was in and out of the hospital, with JJ providing health updates of Inday on social media.

Last January 27, he said she will be transferred to the ICU.

Inday was married to Miguel Barretto, who passed away in 2019.

They have seven children, including Mito, who passed away in September 2025.
