Barbie Hsu's husband DJ Koo shares heartbreaking letter on her death anniversary

DJ Koo penned a heartbreaking handwritten letter on the death anniversary of his wife, Barbie Hsu.

Posted on Instagram, DJ Koo addressed "my eternal love, my everything."

He asked how she was doing and how the weather was. "I worry about you all the time," DJ Koo said, according to a translation by AllKPop.

"When I sit absentmindedly on one corner of the bed in the empty room, I still don't know if this is reality or a dream," he added. "I wish it were a dream, and my chest feels heavy and painful."

"Tears flow endlessly from my longing for you," he added. "I'm sorry for showing you such a weak side of me. But this is the last way I have to soothe my longing for you. I hope you understand."

He also has this message for Barbie.

"When we meet again next time, forever… forever, we will be together."

"I miss you. I miss you so much… I miss you to death," DJ Koo said.

Barbie passed away at the age of 48 last year due to pneumonia. The Taiwanese actress is best known for her role as Shan Cai in "Meteor Garden."

On her first death anniversary, DJ Koo designed a memorial statue in her honor and unveiled it on her first death anniversary alongside her mother.

The statue now permanently stands in Barbie's resting place in Chin Pao San in New Taipei.
