Carla Abellana shows support for husband's photography exhibit
Carla Abellana showed her all-out support for her husband, Dr. Reginald Santos, and his passion for photography.
For the first time, Reginald spoke with "24 Oras" and shared his interest in photography.
"When we travel, sometimes, bigla 'kong mawawala. Andun ako sa isang sulok, she knows that I saw something, so she'll let me be. She'll wait for me. So that's how she is, that's how supportive she is," Reginald said.
Carla added that Reginald is interested in film photography and monochromatic or black-and-white colors.
Reginald's works were displayed at an art exhibit, where part of the proceeds from the sales will be donated to the animal welfare non-government organization Carla supports. The couple also shares a love of dogs.
Meanwhile, Reginald also expressed his support for Carla's showbiz career and her well-being.
"Whatever it is that she needs for her career and for her health, of course. That's my primary focus para sa kanya. Being a doctor, I've saved so many. Of course, my wife, primarily, I need to take care of her," he said.
Asked about their newlywed life, Reginald said they are happy and quipped about beating the record of Carla's previous marriage in terms of length.
"May mga adjustments pa nang konti, pero ano pa rin kami, 'yung medyo on high pa rin kami from wedding," Carla said.
"Gustong gusto ko 'yung tinatatawag ko siyang asawa ko or my husband," the actress said.
They will also have a Valentine's Day dinner on the 13th.
Carla and Reginald announced her engagement in December, then tied the knot later that month in an intimate ceremony in Cavite.
