Sanya Lopez celebrates lola's birthday, shares valuable love advice from her

Sanya Lopez marked her grandmother’s birthday with a heartfelt post, expressing love and gratitude for her.

On Instagram, the Sparkle star shared photos of them together and a video of her lola blowing out her birthday candle.

"Yung wish n'ya, hanggang ngayon para pa rin sa aming mga apo n'ya. Bukod sa kada nagkikita kami ni lola, laging tanong n'ya sa kin kung may bf na daw ba ako?" Sanya wrote in the caption.

The actress remembered their past conversations, where her grandmother would tell her that she hopes Sanya will someday find the right person for her.

"'Yung may takot sa Diyos. Yung taong ire-respeto, iingatan at mamahalin din ako, gaya ng pagmamahal at pag-ingat n'ya sa akin. Kasi 'yung taong pipiliin ko… 'Yun 'yung taong makakasama ko habambuhay," Sanya said.

The actress assured her grandmother she continues to pray for those wishes, while also praying for her lola's long life and good health.

"Kasi gusto ko din na maabutan mo pa yung lahat ng pinapangarap mo para sa amin. I love you so much lola. Pagaling na ikaw para makapag date na uli tayo sa labas at makapag halo-halo na gusto mo," she said.

Earlier this month on "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda," Sanya opened up about her love life, saying she prefers not to introduce her boyfriend to the public. 

She also flexed the diamond promise ring boyfriend gave her, sharing she got to tell her friends about the ring by accident.

Sanya currently stars in "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre," which airs on GMA Network from Mondays to Fridays at 8:05 p.m. after "24 Oras." You can also watch it online via the Kapuso Stream on YouTube.
