Jodi Sta. Maria reacts to ex-husband Pampi Lacson’s engagement to Iwa Moto: ‘Rejoicing with you both!’
Jodi Sta. Maria expressed her support for the engagement of her ex-husband, Pampi Lacson, to Iwa Moto.
On Instagram, Thursday, Iwa shared an Instagram Reel of their recent trip to Japan, where Pampi proposed to her.
Among those who sent their best wishes to the newly engaged couple was Jodi.
“Life has a beautiful way of unfolding. Congratulations on your engagement Madam and Pampi!” Jodi wrote in the comments section.
“Rejoicing with you both! This milestone is truly significant for the whole family!” she added and even joked that she’s already prepared an outfit for their wedding.
Iwa replied to Jodi's comment, revealing that the latter was among the first ones who knew about the proposal.
"[Jodi] grabe ka mag predict amor. Love you. As promised ikaw ang isa sa mga naunang nakaalam hahaha. See you pag uwi namin," she said.
Jodi and Pampi got married in 2005 and separated in 2011. Their son, Thirdy, was born in 2005.
Meanwhile, Iwa has been in a relationship with Pampi for 13 years. They have two children together: Hiromi and Caleb.
Despite their complicated situation, Iwa and Jodi have forged an unusual friendship. They often share photos of their blended family on Instagram, comment on their posts, and in 2020, even did a fun TikTok video together.
When Jodi and Pampi’s marriage was annulled in 2024, Iwa showed her support for Jodi.
“Let’s celebrate. Love you amor!” Iwa simply wrote.
