Anne Curtis remembers dad James on his birthday: Missing him with all my heart’

Anne Curtis is remembering her father, James Ernest Curtis-Smith, on what would have been his 83rd birthday.

On Instagram, the “It’s Showtime” host shared throwback photos with her dad, including one in which he gave his granddaughter, Dahlia, a warm embrace. Dahlia is the unica hija of Anne and Erwan Heussaff.

“Happy birthday to my Father Dearest,” Anne wrote. “Missing him with all of my heart.”

“I can’t help but ponder what it must be like up in heaven? If today, the angels celebrate him too, I hope they let him have a glass of wine,” she added.

In January, Anne and her sister Jasmine Curtis-Smith announced the passing of their father.

Jasmine, who is set to join "Stars on the Floor" season 2 as the Myster Celebrity Dance Star, admitted that she is still grieving her father’s death, and that one of the things that helps her feel better is dancing.
