Lella Ford on having Daniel Padilla as a kuya: ‘He’s very protective’

Lella Ford talked about her relationship with her older brother, Daniel Padilla, on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” on Wednesday.

Asked what it’s like to have the actor as a brother, the “Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” Kapamilya Big Winner said, “He’s very protective.”

Lella added that Daniel spoils her.

“Pero hindi niya po ‘yun sinasabi sa ‘kin. Kunyari meron po akong gusto, siguro bibigay niya sa ‘kin next month,” she said.

Lella also noted that Daniel is strict about her suitors.

Meanwhile, Lella’s mother, Karla Estrada, shared that Daniel was initially against Lella entering showbiz.

“Talagang hindi niya kakayanin ‘no, pero napag-usapan namin,” Karla said.

“Nung umaayaw si Daniel, sabi ko, ‘anak, pakinggan mo muna. Ibigay natin ‘yung gusto niya para pagdating ng araw, hindi tayo masisi,’” she added. 

In a previous interview on “Unang Hirit,” Lella said that her kuyas are protective yet supportive of her.

"Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0" concluded on February 28 after a four-month run.

During the Big Night, Lella was named the Big Winner alongside Sparkle star Caprice Cayetano.

Lella and Caprice have said that they are ready for a busy schedule ahead and are looking forward to upcoming projects.
