Paolo Contis thankful for surprise from Lian Paz, John Cabahug: ‘A happy birthday indeed’

Paolo Contis has nothing but a grateful heart for ex-wife Lian Paz, and her husband John Cabahug after surprising him on his birthday.

On Instagram, the Kapuso actor shared snaps from the birthday celebration of their daughters Xalene and Xonia in Cebu Safari. 

“Medyo late post of Xonia and Xalene’s birthday sa Cebu Safari. Beautiful place, pero mas beautiful na bonding at tawanan. I love you both so much,” Paolo said.

But the celebrations soon included him as Lian and John surprised Paolo with a birthday cake to celebrate his birthday, as well.

Thanking the couple for the cake, Paolo said it was "a happy birthday indeed."

"See you all very very soon!” he added.

Paolo reunited with Xalene, Xonia, Lian, and John in August 2025. Back then, he promised “constant communication.”

In recent months, the actor has been spending time with his daughters and sharing sweet messages.

Their blended family even went to the Blackpink concert together in December last year.

Lian and John got married in September 2025.
