Ashley Rivera gives update on mom's battle with cancer

Ashley Rivera gave an update on her mother, who is currently battling cancer.

In an Instagram Reel on Monday, Ashley and her sister can be seen dancing for their mom, who was lying in a hospital bed.

“Talentado talaga mga anak mo, ma,” Ashley said.

She then gave her followers a quick update on her mom's condition. 

“[Our] dear mama bear is doing fine. She's still fighting and we're celebrating our small wins every single day!” Ashley said.

Ashley revealed on April 1 that her mother is battling cancer. In a video, she sang “You Are My Sunshine” to her and ended up getting emotional.

In January, she was the calendar girl for a liquor brand.

She appears in "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" as the Batis ng Katotohanan.
