Anjo Pertierra on song written by wife Eunice for wedding day: 'It was very special'

Oh, to be loved by a musician!

Anjo Pertierra held back tears as he talked about the surprise he received during his recent wedding to Gracenote vocalist Eunice Jorge: an original song written especially for him.

On Wednesday’s episode of “Unang Hirit,” Anjo said their wedding ceremony became even more personal because of his now-wife’s original song, which played during the bride’s walk down the aisle.

“Iba ‘yung pakiramdam, mas naging special ‘yung moment na ‘yun,” he said.

“Ang ganda niya na, tapos nagsulat pa siya ng kanta para sa amin,” he added. “It was very special. Sinong hindi maiiyak doon?”

As of writing, the newlyweds are still basking in the first week of their marriage. They are currently focused on catching up on work and getting some rest before planning their honeymoon.

Anjo and Eunice tied the knot in a garden ceremony on April 12 at Hillbarn Tagaytay Events Place.

Before the wedding, "Unang Hirit" held a despedida de soltera y soltero for the couple.
