Kylie Padilla gets emotional over sons in heartfelt motherhood post

As Mother’s Day approaches, Kylie Padilla turned sentimental as she shared a post about her sons and the realities of balancing parenthood with work.

On Instagram, the Sparkle star shared clips she took of her sons during a recent trip.

“Part of the reason why I love to travel with my kids solo is that I get to have them all to myself. No work, no other distractions,” Kylie said.

The actress recalled a quiet moment with her eldest son, Alas, while they were preparing to sleep. She shared that she became emotional after realizing how much her son has grown.

“His features matured, he is taller, smarter and more aware of his own existence now. He told me he was having trouble sleeping so I taught him how to meditate and breath to help himself relax and consciously put himself to sleep. I whispered how much I loved him and how much I miss him. And he went to sleep smiling,” she said.

Kylie also recounted a touching interaction with her younger son, Axl, who asked her if she could skip work the next day.

“He asked if I could skip work I said no, maybe shedding a tear secretly. I hugged and kissed both of them and took in every precious moment my babies were embracing me and reminding myself how lucky I am to have them in my life,” Kylie said.

She continued, “I remember thinking ‘I am the happiest I have ever been’ and I told myself never to forget it. I said a prayer for us three.”

Kylie promised her children she would take them back to Japan after finishing her current show.

“Indeed time can be stretched when you need it to because last night felt like an eternity, long enough to heal the deep pain growing within me the more time I am away from my babies doing life and working my best to make them happy.”

The actress ended the post by describing it as “just notes from a tired single mommy.”

Alas and Axl are Kylie’s sons with her ex-husband Aljur Abrenica.

Kylie is set to star in “Task Force Firewall” with Jak Roberto, Kyline Alcantara, and Miguel Tanfelix.
