Samantha Bernardo delivers baby through water birth: 'Magical'
Samantha Bernardo has given birth to a baby boy named Sebastian.
On Instagram, the Filipina beauty queen shared her water birth journey as a first-time mom.
Samantha said she realized labor had started on May 31, which was also her due date and her husband Scott Moore's birthday. The couple spent the day together before she began feeling contractions and told him, "I think it's time!"
As labor progressed, Samantha said she stopped trying to control everything and chose to "surrender, trust my body" while repeating the words, "let go and let God."
"In the quiet of our home, surrounded by love, support, and peace, our son made his way into the world," she said.
"Just before 2 a.m., as we welcomed a brand-new month, we finally met Seb," she added.
After giving birth, Samantha recalled telling her birth team, "Birthing is a blessing, and I was built to birth."
She described the experience as "magical," saying it was the only word that truly captured what it felt like to become a mother for the first time.
"This experience showed me what the female body is capable of when it is supported, respected, and trusted," she wrote.
In May, Samantha radiated "queen mom energy" in her maternity photoshoot.
Samantha and Scott announced they were expecting their first child in November 2025.
Last December, she revealed that they are having a baby boy.
Samantha and Scott got engaged in 2023 and married in 2024.
