Mondo Duplantis and Desire Inglander are married
World No. 1 pole vaulter and Olympic champion Armand "Mondo" Duplantis has tied the knot with longtime partner Desiré Inglander.
On Instagram, the Monaco-based couple shared a joint post featuring photos from their wedding ceremony, which took place on June 12 at Château de Castellaras in the South of France.
For their special day, Mondo and Desiré were both dressed in white. The groom wore a white tuxedo jacket paired with black trousers and a black bow tie, all by Swedish bespoke tailoring brand Saman Amel.
The bride, meanwhile, stunned in a lace gown with long sleeves and a sweetheart neckline designed by Swedish designer Ida Lanto.
Mondo and Desiré announced their engagement in October 2024.
The newlywed athlete continues to dominate his sport. In March, Mondo set his 15th world record, clearing 6.31 meters at the Mondo Classic indoor meeting in Uppsala.
In an episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” in September, EJ Obiena talked about his good relationship with pole vaulters Mondo and Emmanouil Karalis.
