Kuya Kim remembers Emman on first Father's Day without late daughter

Kim Atienza celebrated this year’s Father’s Day for the first time without his daughter, the late Emman Atienza.

On Instagram, the Kapuso host shared a throwback video of young Emman lip-syncing to “Scars to Your Beautiful” by Alessia Cara.

“I always knew you were a star, Emmansky,” he wrote. “My first Father's Day without you, my love.”

In April, Kuya Kim shared a heartfelt post after visiting the resting place of Emman, where he discovered handwritten notes left by supporters.

Emman’s passing was announced by her family in October 2025. She was 19.

In what would be her last broadcast message on Instagram, posted on September 1, she opened up about the pressures of social media and taking a break from TikTok.

Earlier, Kuya Kim helped a netizen consult a psychiatrist after he aired his hardships online.
