Queenie Padilla officially divorced from husband, says she is 'at peace'

Queenie Padilla revealed that she has been officially divorced from her husband since December.

In a recent Facebook post, the actress and daughter of Robin Padilla shared a glimpse of court documents finalizing her divorce from Usama Mir.

"To be perfectly clear that chapter is fully, finally, and irreversibly closed since October last year and finalised December the same year," she said.

"To be more specific it is not a talaq divorce it is divorce by faskh with a condition that makes it impossible to remarry the ex-husband."

Queenie said she has been at peace for "a long while now."

"I no longer recognize myself in any story that tries to drag me backward," she said. "I don't revisit the past because I'm simply not there anymore. My energy belongs entirely to what lies ahead my faith, my growth, and the quiet blessings of a heart that has let go completely. Please keep me in your du'as for my future, not my past."

She clarified that she is not promoting or encouraging divorce.

"It is a solution and THE LAST RESORT for couples who are incapable of giving each other mawaddah or rahmah," she said.

Queenie and Usama confirmed their marriage in 2015.

In 2024, Queenie announced her separation from Usama, citing "irreconcilable incompatibility."

“I will always have love, honour and respect for the father of my child. He's a great father and responsible human being,” she said. “Although life has taken us on different paths right now, I will forever cherish the 11 years we've had together.”
