Shuvee Etrata celebrates sister as family's 1st college graduate: '1 down, 7 more to go'
Shuvee Etrata is celebrating a milestone close to her heart after her sister, Shaina, became the first college graduate in their family.
On Instagram, Sparkle GMA Artist Center reposted Shuvee’s heartfelt message, expressing pride in her sister's achievement and reflecting on the sacrifices their family made along the way.
Writing, “1 down, 7 more to gooo," Shuvee addressed her sister directly in an emotional tribute.
“To my little sister, Congratulations, my graduate,” Shuvee said. “We carried responsibilities long before we got to carry our dreams, but you never let that stop you. Thank you for helping me carry not just our family’s burdens, but our dreams too. Every sacrifice, every sleepless night, and every challenge has led you to this moment.”
Shuvee also expressed how proud she is of Shaina and looked forward to achieving even more dreams together.
“I’m so proud of you. Here’s to the dreams we’ve fought for together-and the even bigger ones we’ll achieve side by side. I love you always,” she said.
Shuvee is the eldest of nine siblings.
