Inside Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding: 5 details we know so far
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have officially tied the knot, with a spokesperson confirming the couple's marriage on Saturday (Philippine time).
While the newlyweds have kept most details of their wedding private, several reports from U.S. media have offered a glimpse into the lavish celebration.
Here are five details about the couple's big day:
Taylor wore a custom Dior Haute Couture wedding gown
According to the couple's spokesperson, Taylor and Travis’ wedding looks were created by Christian Dior Haute Couture under the direction of Creative Director Jonathan Anderson.
The custom designs were reportedly developed in close collaboration with the couple.
Taylor also wore jewelry from Cartier, and the two of them had custom Christian Louboutin shoes.
Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony
One of the biggest surprises was the choice of officiant.
The couple's spokesperson confirmed that longtime friend Adam Sandler officiated the wedding ceremony, which brought together both the Swift and Kelce families.
There were no bridesmaids or groomsmen
Instead of having a traditional wedding party, the couple opted to keep things within the family.
Taylor's brother, Austin Swift, served as her Man of Honor, while Travis' brother, Jason Kelce, stood beside him as Best Man, the spokesperson said.
Two-day celebration at Madison Square Garden
Reports said the festivities were held at Madison Square Garden in New York City and stretched across two days.
The celebration reportedly began on Friday and included a ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and additional festivities throughout the weekend.
Celebrity guests and rumored performances added to the star power
Reports said the guest list included close friends such as Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Cara Delevingne, and Zoë Kravitz, along with members of the Kansas City Chiefs organization.
Media reports also suggested that Stevie Nicks and Tim McGraw were among the rumored performers, while Ed Sheeran and Paul McCartney were also mentioned as possible musical guests. —JCB, GMA News
