Kim Ji Min, Kim Joon Ho announce pregnancy via IVF

Kim Ji Min and Kim Joon Ho are expecting their first child!

On Instagram, Kim Ji Min shared photos of a sonogram, along with a positive pregnancy test and a pair of baby boots.

In her caption, as translated by Soompi, the South Korean comedian and actress revealed they conceived with the help of vitro fertilization (IVF).

"Our first IVF journey began with my husband gently reassuring me not to push myself too hard and not to rush," Kim Ji Min wrote.

"Thankfully, it felt as though our little Durup had been waiting just for this day, arriving on our very first attempt."

She said she first had to get healthy and that she was scolded "quite a bit" for her condition.

Once her body was ready, she said she immediately blurted out, "I want to start IVF right now!"

"And that’s how our little Durup came into our lives," she said.

Kim Ji Min said she's safely past the early stage of pregnancy.

"I think I’ll be able to sleep soundly tonight," she said, adding that with their two dogs and their unborn baby, "We truly have everything in the world."

Kim Ji Min and Kim Jun Ho tied the knot in July. Kim Ji Min was a comedian for the show "Gag Concert" until 2019 and has worked on the shows "Human Condition" and "Crisis Escape No. 1."

Kim Jun Ho meanwhile has been a longtime host on "Gag Concert" and also worked on "2 Days & 1 Night."
