Dingdong Dantes to celebrate 46th birthday with family getaway

Dingdong Dantes is marking his 46th birthday soon!

According to Athena Imperial's report on "24 Oras" Thursday, the Kapuso actor plans to celebrate his and wife Marian Rivera's birthday this August with a family getaway.

"Mag-sh-short trip kami somewhere for both our birthdays," Dingdong revealed. "Kasi 'yun rin 'yung bakasyon ng mga bata, so may konting window pa sila to have a short vacation."

Dingdong will turn 46 on August 2, while Marian will turn 42 on August 12.

He also expressed his gratitude for the continued support and trust he has received throughout his career.

"Nagpapasalamat tayo sa mga brands for trusting me and our family. We’re also careful na malaman at maintindihan kung ano ba 'yung products, kung kanino kami makikipag-collaborate pero syempre grateful kami na nagtitiwala sila sa 'min, but ultimately it’s because we believe in the product," he said.

Dingdong currently headlines the GMA Prime series "The Master Cutter," which also stars child actresses Sienna Stevens and Ericca Laude.

Per Dingdong, it is a joy working with both young artists as he gets to see their different personalities.

"Masaya silang kasama dahil siyempre bilang bata magkaiba rin sila ng personalities. Nakakatuwang makitang naglalaro sila. Nakakatuwang makitang nag-b-bonding sila."

Dingdong and his daughter, Zia, recently shared a sweet bonding moment with Sienna, and he hopes to have Ericca join them in the next one.

"Looking forward kami doon para magkasama-sama rin sila kung p-puwede. And I hope that happens soon," he said.

“The Master Cutter” also stars Max Collins, Paolo Contis, Jo Berry, Charlie Fleming, Anthony Constantino, and more. It airs weeknights on GMA Prime at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." It is also streaming on Netflix. —CDC, GMA News
